One-Click drive selection

Thread needs solution

I went to test the one-click backup option and its automatically selected both my C drive (Win 7 64) and the D drive (Win XP partition) but oddly enough not my Win 7 32 bit partition. I only want to back-up C - can I change that option?

Hi,
According to the Acronis user's guide ,the one click backup feature shall back up the main partition only. There is no option to change this.

Hello,

I will surely help you and resolve the issue you have experienced.

However, first could you please let me know the build number of the product, which you can find in the Help -> About dialog (it should be a 3 or 4 digit number)?

Most likely, the issue is related to SnapAPI drivers that are responsible for all input/output operations with hard drives. So, to fix the issue, I may recommend you to update those drivers to get rid of the issue. I've sent you a link to the latest build of the drivers via PM.

If the issue still persists, I need some additional information to investigate your problem thoroughly and to provide you with a possible workaround. Please gather required information by the means of AcronisInfo utility as described in the KB article. Please attach the created file to your reply.

Please let me know if it turns out that the issue is not resolved or if you have any further questions. I'll do everything possible to help you.

Thank you.

I have the same problem with Acronis One Click Backup. I installed Windows 7 on the second drive of my computer and made it dual booting Vista and Windows 7. Vista is on C: drive and Windows 7 on G: drive.
I upgraded Acronis to True Image 2010 build 6,053 so that I could back up Windows 7. If I back up both it needs around 170 GB free space and my external drive is only 150GB.
Can anyone please advise me how to select only G: drive and deselect C: drive.
