Outlook DB not properly closed
My Acronis 2011 seems to backup my Outlook DB, but if Outlook is active durring the backup, then it will then not permit normal mail selection or mail receipt. I have to stop Outlook, then restart it. When it begins the restart it state that the DB was not closed properly and must be checked. Every thing will be found to be OK, and Outlook will then operate correctly. I have a very big mail box so this checking process takes a very long time.
When Outlook is not active (not started) Acronis 2011 also seems to backup correctly, but when I then start Outlook it states that the DB was not properly closed and must be checked. Again, the checks seem to be just fine, and everything operates correctly. However, I have a very big mail file and this takes a very long time.
I am looking for a version of Acronis that will close the Outlook DB files correctly so that this checking is not required. Any suggestions?
I am operating with Win 7 64bit and have Outlook Office Standard 2007 SP2 MSO (12.0.6554.5001). When I check for Acronis new version, I am told I am upto date.
