Pete,

I used the Acronis 2011 User Manual to create my WinPE and it worked great. Try that and tell us if you have issues, specifying which steps/paragraphs you completed successfully.

See the 2011 user guide http://www.acronis.com/download/docs/atih2011/userguide section 7.2.3 for details.

Thanks Pat, why didn't i think of that!!!

Worked a treat :-)

Hello Pat,

I hope you don't mind my appealing to you for some help.

I desperately need help with a WinPE boot Disk. Is there any change you could send me a copy of your boot disk please. I am not getting much joy from Acronis and I have backed them for years now. I have purchased ATIH 9/10/2011/2012.

If you can help I will let you have my details.

Paul,

Are you sure you need WinPE? Here is a link to Acronis info. In order to create WINPE, you need to have the Plus Pack purchased option. If your current TI Recovery CD sees all your disks, the WINPE is not needed to do restore (unless to different equipment).

Paul,

Unfortunately, I am not licensed or allowed to distribute software myself.

To reiterate, that the recovery CD is not showing you the same drive letters as Windows is *NOT* an issue. It is an artefact of the Linux version. Do not attempt to correct this.
Look a the drive labels. If the recovery CD can see all the required disks, you are in good shape and WinPE is not needed and doesn't bring any benefit.
