Thread needs solution

First, i'm sorry for my english. Don't hesitate to ask me question if you dont understand.

My product is Acronis True image echo workstation.

How i configure it: i installed it on my pc to generate a bootable cd. I boot another pc and installed Acronis secure zone with startup recovery (F11). I made a backup of first partition of my disk.

My problem occur when i recover this partition the F11 option disappear.

Anyone know what's the problem?

Did you try reactivating the ASRM? You can do this from TI in Windows or when booted to TI from the CD.

Hi, yes i tried reactivating the ASRM and backup my partition another time. But, when i recover the partition the F11 disappear again.

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem, my product is Acronis True image echo workstation 2010 FR build # 5055,

After each recovry with ASRM (F11), the F11 option dispappear, i think that the cause is the MBR, we are obliged to recover too the mbr but if you have 2 HDD, you must restore the mbr in the disk where is installed the Acronis secure zone, can you confirmed this, thanks

I assume you mean TI 2010 Home (build 5,055) and not Echo Workstation.

Are you getting any error message (like "MBR Error 3" or something like that) or does Windows boot normally and you just don't get the F11 prompt?

Yes, it's TI 2010 Home, no i have no error, just F11 option dispappear and Windows boot normally, i have done a misting i have 2 HDD C and D and not 2 partition. Thanks.

Was the ASRM activated before you created the image you restored? If it wasn't and you restored the MBR, the ASRM would be deactivated.

Yes of course, i always created  the image with the ASRM, but when i restored the image on a different drive where the acronis secure zone is created , the asrm is deactived, i precise that with acronis True image 2009 all is ok.

It may be a bug then. Restoring a partition image to a different physical drive than the one on which the ASRM is activated shouldn't deactivate the ASRM (nothing on that drive should even be changed).
