Problem with Email backup task hanging

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I am having a problem with ATI Home 2010 performing the task of backing up my email. The task runs then hangs while "Archiving Data" with 47,910 days. I have tried to delete the task and restart my computer but it still hangs at this point. See attached screen shot.

Help please!

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help. 

To solve the issue, install a special driver update with fixes on the machine:

Download SnapAPI Build 503;

- Unpack it and install with Disabled logging:

- Reboot the computer to complete the changes. 

If the issue still remains, please obtain the blow files and attach to your next post:

1)  Device Tree screen shots;

2) Userdump file;

3) Windows sysinfo file

i am having the same problem on ati home 2010- when attempting to archive email, it hangs for 47910 days. I have installed the SnapAPI build 503 referenced above as well as the scheduler416forabr, restarted, etc. still keeps happening.

is there a fix that works?

In your case we need some additional information to investigate the issue since there are can be different reasons of it.

Could you please collect the following information and submit a request to support directly?

  • Exact title of E-mail client (e.g. Microsoft Outlook Express 6.0, Microsoft Outlook 2003);
  • Quantity of user profiles;
  • Amount of the accounts for these profiles and their type (POP3, IMAP, etc);
  • If the accounts within a single profile are of different types, please provide the amount of the accounts of each type. (E.g. profile [XXXX] contains three imap accounts and two pop3 accounts);
  • AcronisInfo tool output;
  • Any other information that may be relevant in the particular case.
