Problem with recovery media

I have an HP Envy 147-700 pc with windows 8.1 & 12GB ram. I am having a strange problem trying to boot into Acronis using my Sandisk Cruzer 32 GB USB zip drive. I press the ESC key to select the zip drive as the boot disk & the Aconis program begins to load but after 10 sec or so the screen changes & says that there is no boot drive installed & stops loading Acronis. This does not occur immeciately but after the Acronis intro has been displayed ~6 sec. I've used this drive many times before. I even made a 2nd boot media in Acronis which did the same thing.

Any ideas?
