a problem with the SSD after recovering
Hi all,
My Current SSD (125 GB) was in need for making a full drive image (per sector) by ATIH 2012. (I saw in my disk 3 parts of the 1 fizical disk: MBR, C, hidden restore factory part of disk).
After this decided to try to recover only the disk С:
Then my Asus didn't want to boot, showed smth like that: "...no disk..."
Tried to recover without marking per sector - the same resalt - no starting W7 (64 bit).
Maybe MBR damaged?
What can me do in this situation?

You did not answer part of my question:
Was there a problem with the system that caused you to do a restore?
If the disk and OS were functioning fine, then you could safely restore just C: partition. If you had issues, then you might need to do a full restore including restoring MBR.
The safest and simplest strategy is to do full disk backups (which includes all partitions, even hidden partitions, and MBR) and full disk restores.

(A problem with the system that caused you to do a restore?)
There wasn't any problem with the system. Simply decided to verify image on a practic.
I tried to restore C: partition. When It was recovering process, it lasted about 2 hours??? Why so much?
Thank you for the hint. I can try to full restore including restoring MBR.

Diana,
You didn't need to do a disk and partition backup and turn the sector by sector feature. Just do a disk and partition backup.
Do a full restore including the hidden partition and the MBR+Track0.
What is the name of the hidden partition? System Reserved?

Yes!
I've aiready managed this problem by recovering MBR with the help of installation disk (W7-64, repair boot option). Now it's OK
Thank you
