Problems Updating
I bought this sorry product a few weeks before a new version (2011) came out and have spent ages trying to get an update the product to the latest 2010 version as I can't get it to backup reliably and at least want to try the latest version before giving it up as a bad job. Why can't I get an up-to-date version 2010 (I'm stuck with 13.0.5021)? I can't even find a way to get support (am I expected to pay for it?) which is why I've resorted to winging on this forum.
In the meantime I've had to go to the wonderful Paragon software (why didn't I go straight for that in the first place?) to back up and taken this rubbish off my system.
Sorry guys this software stinks - what a waste of money.

I bought the software very recently but more than 30 days ago. To be honest I've given up as I've already spent way too long messing with failed backups and one disastrous failed restore. The (free) Paragon just worked first time (also used Ghost for many years for W2000 and XP and it never once let me down).
The problem with backup software is that it must instil confidence as no one's going to wait for a loss of data before finding out it's no good. I just don't have confidence in this software. As well as not updating it sometimes just sits in my system tray doing nothing but not even telling me what it's doing and the scheduling doesn't work reliably at all. I'm not staking my system and working reputation on software that acts that way.
