Thread needs solution

I had to replace my hard disk and reinstall True Image 2015 and need to activate it.

When it prompts me to enter a serial number I enter in the only 2015 number I have and it says it is an upgrade serial number. when I enter in a 2014 serial number it tells me it is for the wrong product. So I can't activate and can;t open a support ticket because my maintenance has expired.

 

Any ideas of how to activate?

I
 would upgrade to 2018 but I'm afraid it won't activate based on the issue I have now.

Parker, if your ATI 2015 is an Upgrade edition, then you will need to provide 2 serial numbers, the first requested will be the serial for 2015, and then a serial for a qualifying upgraded product, i.e. your 2014 serial.

If doing as above does not help resolve the issue, then first sign in to your Acronis account and check that you are using the correct serial numbers. See KB 1832: How to find the serial number of your Acronis product for help in this area.

If you still have an issue, then click on the Contact Support link shown at the bottom of the forum pages, then follow through to where you can select that you want help with a PreSales / Licencing issue.  Acronis will help with these types of activation / licencing issues.
