Is there a progress window that comes up while cloning hard drives. I don't see anything on my computer that indicates cloning is in progress.

Except for the hard drive light.

Trying running clone process in manual not automatic, instructions are self explanatory. select proprotional option for your disk partions. I did the same thing you did. Running in manual will take care of your problem.  Process window will appear and that will confirm cloning operation.
