QNAP NAS any progress for TIH 6154?

Thread needs solution

Have the problems been solved backing up to a QNAP NAS?
Does the NAS now show up on the NAS list?
Have problems logging in to the NAS been solved?
TS-219P II
I don't want to upgrade to this version until I get some feedback. I'm still on 5545 as 6131 had some issues too that I didn't like.
Thanks

I have a QNAP TS-419P II and True Image 2013 build 5551.. After turning on (on the NAS), under Network Service Discovery, SAMBA(was already on) and AFP, the NAS now shows up in the NAS list, I can connect to it and am now backing up to it... no issues so far.. Still testing but backups are working

Appreciate this feedback. I'm considering the TS-219PII as well.

update... backup completed successfully and verified.. rebooted pc from recovery disk. Only issue I found was when booting from DVD the NAS did NOT show up as it did before, however I am able to connect via FTP and restore.
Note, the recovery DVD was created before the NAS was showing up in the list.. not sure if this has anything to do with it or not, am going to re-create bootable recovery disk and test.

David,
Recreating the Boot CD should not change your results. The device should be discoverable on your network. Then and now if propery configured.

I currently use a Linksys NAS 200 1T and a D-Link 323 4T. Both are discoverable using "Computers Near Me" > "Workgroup" > "\\[specify share name]

I'm going with Q-nap since Sinology doesn't support SATA III on their pro-sumer based boxes.

Trying to connect Acronis True Image 2014 on Win10 to a new installed QNAP TS-451.

In the Acronis software I can see the QNAP as a network device but not on the NAS Connections.  I browsed through the Network to the share on the QNAP but it work intermitently and the path on the Acronis get corrupted.

Any ideas how to resolve?

Eyal, TI 2014 is not supported on Windows 10. Even thought it appears to work correctly now it may not in the future. I can't say if your issue is related to that or not. TI 2017, 2016 and 2015 are supported.
