Recover Failure

Thread needs solution

I have tried to use "Recover PC" and each time I get the following error message:
Failed to open item E:\Acronis Backups\Entire PC (HOME PC)_inc_b1_s5_v1_tib for which there is no solution in the Knowledge Base or posts on this Forum. When I try to use "Recover Files" the folowing error message is the result: "Cannot find version 5".

I am using and external hard drive to store the backup files, all of which appear to be saved as per the schedule. The version I am using was upgraded from True Image 2014 on 07 October 2014 and is 18.0.06525

Please is anyone able to help resolve these issues?

Use Windows Explorer to browse to E:\Acronis Backups
and see if
Entire PC (HOME PC)_inc_b1_s5_v1_tib
can be found in that folder?

Drive letter and path must be same as above. Is this the same drive letter for which the original task was created?
Sometimes, flash drives , etc are inserted and this insertion causes Window to assign a different drive letter.
