Recovery CD does not work Win-7 64 Home Premium
I have the trial version installed. Created backups without a problem, but after creating two Boot CDs, TI gets stuck at the Menu screen, and times out and boots into Windows. Keyboard and Mouse do not work. Pressing either one, locks up TI and I have to power off the PC.
Using an Intel I5-750 2.7GHZ processor, 8GB RAM Win7-64 Home Premium
CAn boot with Windows Recovery CD, or Active-Boot CD which i use to create backups and restore.
The new TI product is impressive, but if the recovery CD doesn't boot, the product is useless! Really useless, and I dont understand how the product can be released with this issue outstanding for several months!
I tried TI 6 months ago, and gave up, because of other problems.
I have read many post about this problem with no clear solution. The idea of using the Linux ISO to creat the boot CD is very dangerosu, as other posts indicate that this can make your machine non-bootabl, because of errors in reading drive geometry.
I would recommend making a working image that you have tested, by actually restoring and booting, before you mess with your machine.
