recovery error restoring partition (c) operation failed to prepare error 3

im using latest version of acronis true image home 10 on win 7x64
im trying to restore the partition to its C drive.

but im getting an immediate error "failed to prepare operations erro code 3 internal error script is inconsistent"

ive tried donwloading scheduler again as per preious suggestions but no dice, i cannot restore the c drive at all, no matter what external drives i have the backup stored on.

any help is greatly appreciated
