Recursive Fault repair, reboot needed

I am cloning a drive, Windows 7 Pro OS, HP Laptop. The objective is to replace the HDD with a SSD. Process requires restart, when Acronis loads I get "Recursive Fault is being Repaired, Reboot is necessary"
Two questions;
1) What causes this?
2) Is there a work around?
