Registration
I just purchased TI 2017 with my present email. When I went in to create a new account, it wouldn't let me saying that the account already existed.
After going back 6 years in my old email, I found the serial number of TI Home 2009. When I went to log in, I couldn't remember the password so I got into the account.
I logged in to the registration process, entered the new serial number for 2017 and it said that it registered to another account. I don't know how that could be becouse it wouldn't let me create an account.
How in the world can I get this sorted out so I can use it?

Thanks Steve. I finally figured out that they created the account automatically without a password. I sent a lost password request and got one.

Ralph, thanks for the feedback - I didn't know about Acronis creating accounts without a password, but glad you have it sorted.

Serial Number is already registered
Hello Melora!
Welcome back to Acronis
You have no registered products.
Why is it already registered, yet I have no registered products? I would try to contact support but ironically, I can't do that without a registered product. I've seen the page explaining how to do what I tried to do.
My husband bought and downloaded and installed the product, and he says that it "registered" it during the install process on his laptop; but he says that my account is the only one he created, so who is that product already registered to?

Sorry, yes, he created it some time back, like it did for Ralph, and it registered that new product to his old account.

Please edit your original post and remove the serial number or obscure this by taking sections out of it - this is a public forum open to anyone to see.
Check what email address your husband used when he bought and downloaded and installed the product.
If this doesn't help you to resolve this, then you will need to contact Acronis Support as we cannot help further with registration / licensing or serial number issues in these user forums.
