Registration True Image 2009

Thread needs solution

I purchased True Image Home 2009 and can not register it. I have a two line serial code on the cd envelope and your registration site wants a 16 digit code. What gives here. I am a registered user of True image 11 but I purchased this copy to upgrade my software. Your registration process is some what confusing and poor. What do I do to register? I want to download the product update to True Image Home 2009. I don't have the box because, I threw it away thinking all I needed was the serial code on the cd envelope. Please help me out here.

Something is wrong here but it might be the local language you are using, don't know How Acronis sets up their serial numbers. If you are installing the Full version you will be prompted to enter a 71 character (including the hyphens) serial number in TI2009. If instead you are installing an Upgrade version You will need to enter the above and in addition you will be prompted to enter the serial for a prior version to confirm that you qualify to use an upgrade. In your case version 11 has a 29 character (including hyphens) serial number. This is based on the U.S English language.

Since you mention having the CD and an envelope with a serial number I have to assume that it's a full version.

In order to receive free minor updates and technical support, please do the following to register your product:

1. Choose "Product registration" at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/products/registration/

2. Enter your serial number for your Acronis product in the corresponding field.

3. Your product will become registered and you will get an access to the latest build at "Product updates" (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/updates/).

Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download.

Let us know if the issue persists.

I have a system where many of the services cannot start. I cannot start my version of True Image Home 2009 to help me do a restore, or to find the serial number.
I have no record of the serial numbers.

I paid for the media and it came with an order number printed on it, but no serial number. So I ordered the product online, you created the CD for me, but could not bother registering it. I looked on the CD contents and no file containing serial numbers. Now when I need your help it's "Please find the information that is located on the PC that does not start". Nice touch.

I find it hard to believe that it will be more difficult to get any useful information from this site then all the frustrations I have had with my dead PC.

Fortunately, you purchased our software using the same e-mail address that you used in the forum. I was able to locate the serial numbers and register them for you. I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience, it is always a good practice to register serial numbers. This way, you can always recover a lost serial number, download the latest build and the latest version of the recovery disk.
