Reinstall TI on renewed hard drive.

Thread needs solution

I had to reinstall Windows 7 on my hard drive. As a result I need to reinstall TI, but when I try, it is as though I'm upgrading and I'd need to provide a new "serial Number" . Does anyone know how I can download my latest version of TI using my original serial number? Without TI I cannot restore all of my documents, programs, and other personal info.

Thanks a bunch for your interest. Dewey

1. You do not need TI installed to recover your backups. This can be done when booted from the TI Recovery CD.

2. Was your last purchase of TI a full purchase or a upgrade purchase. Full purchase needs only 1 serial number, but if your most recent was an upgrade purchase, then you need two serial numbers. The original purchase serial several versions back and then your most recent upgrade purchase serial.
