Reload a application to a new hard drive

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I made copy of everything from my old internal hard drive using Acronis True Image 14 and put it on a WD external hard drive.

I reloaded a new copy of Windows 7 Home Premium onto a new internal hard drive. New install works fine, just need to get some of my old applications transfer that I don't have disks for.

I want to take certain applications from the external harddrive and load onto the new hard drive from the Acronis back up.

The program is Corel Paint Shop Pro that I want to transfer to the new harddrive.....can i do that without loading every file that I copied when I used Acronis.

Ive looked for a tutorial but have not found one the shows how to do that. When I try to recover it from the full partition on the external drive it wants to transfer all of the files.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You can't selectively install any application from your backup to a new drive. You have to re-install applications individually. If you made a full disk backup then you could restore that but it would wipe out your new WIN 7 install.
