Removing "Acronis TIB Mounter" and "Acronis Virtual Disk Bus"

Thread needs solution

I tried to back up to an SSD but Acronis would not recognise the drive. I followed Acronis' instructions to rectify the problem and I now have installed on my computer "Acronis TIB Mounter" and "Acronis Virtual Disk Bus". These did not solve my problem but my OS, Windows 7, is alerting me that these applications are causing problems. I am unable to uninstall these applications and restoring my computer to a time previous to the installation has not removed them. I would be grateful for any advice on how I go about remove these pests from my system.

If your disk is GPT, you may be invovled with this issue.

Those two entries are listed in the Device Manager and are a part of your normal installation of TrueImage Home.
These are involved any time you wnat to mount and view any of your backups.

You can use the cleankup utility (link below) and do a reinstall and see if that helps.
