Rescue CD TIH 2009 Build 3854 Decides to Stop Working!

After several years of faithful service my rescue CD has stopped working. I wanted to validate a recent archive and the CD booted OK. However during the validation the progress bar stopped with 27 minutes remaining and the cursor was frozen. I had to force a reboot. I tried again, but this time Acronis full version never got loaded. The system locked up at the "Acronis loading, please wait" in the upper left side of my display. I then created another rescue CD and the same thing happened.

I would appreciated any help on this. I am using XP SP3 on an HP Pavilion.

In case the second CD also fails with the same symptoms, then the issue might be related to the hardware failure. Please send us Acronis Linux Report from the latest bootable media you've used and Acronis Info from Windows.

Thanks for offering your help! Unfortunately I am having a problem getting the Linux report to work. When I load the Acronis Full Version my PC locks up on the last page of all the commands. I tried taking digital photos but the pages go by so fast I could only get the last screen.

Anyway I am not sure this is all worth my trouble. It appears Acronis doesn"t support TIH 2009 anymore and because of financial issues I can't afford to pay for help! Looks like I am going to have to look for a freeware backup and recovery suite.
