Rescue media doesn't detect hard drives, new version can't create disc
I was using the following Acronis products under Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit:
TrueImage2010 v5055
DiskDirector Suite 10.0.2160
I created the Rescue Media from those versions, however it would not detect any of my SATA drives.
I then upgraded to the following verisons:
TrueImage 2010 v6053
DiskDirector Suite 10.0.2239
After those are installed I get the following error when trying to create the Rescue Media:
E0018000B: Cannot load required components. Please reinstall Acronis Test Program.
Would someone be able to assist me with this issue?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I am having the same problem: I am running Vista Home Premium 64-bit, and tried to create a boot disk with Disk Director Suite. It won't let me, and told me too to reinstall Acronis Test Program. For some reason this program doesn't show up in my possibilities in the install program, even though I installed the complete program...

Hello all,
I will surely help you and resolve the issue you have experienced.
Most likely, standard version of the bootable CD (that is based on Acronis Loader) for some reasons can't detect your hard drives correctly. In this case I may suggest you to download a bootable media that is based on an alternate loader - ISOLINUX. ISOLINUX Bootable Media is usually more up to date than the Acronis Loader one. This is due to the fact a new version of Acronis Bootable Media is uploaded to the website more frequently than regular product updates are released. ISOLINUX Bootable Media has several boot parameters that may help overcome possible issues with booting.
You can download that new media from your account:
- Log in to your account (if you do not have one, you will need to create it);
- Once logged in, click Registered Products & Support:
- Scroll down to the registered product and click Bootable Media:
- Click Download:
Acronis Bootable Media will be downloaded as an ISO file. Please check this KB article if you're not familiar with the ISO-burning.
Thank you.

This is only a partial solution.
I want to create the rescue CD for ALL of the products that I have paid for. I used to be able to do this (create media builder and select Disk Director AND True Image) now I can't.
Not happy!
And yes, I have downloaded all latest versions. In fact I've just spent too much time downloading and re-installing to get the Plus Pack installed for True Image and to try get the media builder to work.
