[RESOLVED] Mouse not working in bootable media!

Thread needs solution

I just bought and installed 2013 and installed on my Win 7 machine. Using wireless keyboard and mouse, both by Logitech. The mouse/cursor is non functional after booting from the rescue disk (although it does work on the first screen and allows me to start Acronis True Image, but it goes dead after that). I know that this is a widespread problem, but is there a way to get it to work? This is an shockingly severe bug in software that is supposed to offer reliable recovery.

Issue resolved here.

Good grief, lose the outrage. Bugs happen.

If you searched the forums you'd find dozens of discussions of this topic already.

It's a known issue. Try newly downloading the Rescue Media ISO from your Acronis.com account. It has the same build number as previously, but is actually a newer version. It fixes the wireless keyboard/mouse issue and the GPT disk issue. The fixes are only in the new build of the Rescue Media, as no new Windows version has been released.
