[RESOLVED] Recover Failure: Secure Boot Violation

Thread needs solution

Running Windows 8 64bit with 256 GB SSD c:drive. Created an image of c:
Recover of c: fails at the process point where the computer restarts.
If secure boot is enabled, I receive: "Secure Boot Failure. Invalid signature detected. Check secure boot policy in setup". Clicking OK reverts back to the desktop.
If secure boot is disable, the recover process just stops on a blank screen, no hdd activity. Have to restart the computer.
No difference of "recover signature" is checked or not.

Issue resolved here.

You have to disable secure boot and enable legacy boot (switch from UEFI booting). Then, do your operatioin from the recovery CD. Before rebooting windows, first switch back to UEFI boot, then enable secure boot.
