running out of space

Thread needs solution

After a full disk backup things go fine for some period of time (months) then I start getting very annoying messages every few minutes that E: is running out of space. I suppose the software is taking incrementals. How do i stop this.

All I want is a single image backup at a point in time. These message obscure my windows and must be manually cleared only to come back in a few minutes. Don't tell me to get a bigger disk. I just want to periodically take a snapshot of my drive to avoid having to reinstall all software in case of a hard drive failure. I have other means of backing up my data.

Can I stop this annoying message with the current backup, or, if not - how do I change the next backup to avoid this??

What version of TI are you using?

Have you looked at the somewhat hidden details of your backup options. Some of these have indicators regarding space notification.

I am running the 2009 version.

In the past I have spent time combing through menus looking for a solution. That is not to say its not there, just that I don't recognize it. I gues you had it right when you said HIDDEN.
