Scheduled Backups Not Running

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I have a full copy of 2013 True Image Home, setup with incremental backups on a schedule to run at 19:00 everyday.

However the backups wont run, they did in the past but not anymore

I have looked into this and have narrowed it down to being the schedule service.

If i end the service in task manager and then load True Image Home program, the service re-activates and the backup will work.

Can someone help me work out why the backups are not running without having to fiddle with the service, because its pointless having a schedule if its not going to backup my computer. Was the whole point in buying the software.

As i said before, the schedule DID work before and backed up for weeks, then suddenly when i checked to make sure everything was ok, no backups for a few days.

I have changed the service to run as administrator, changed user settings to allow the program to run with highest levels.

I can see the service is running in task manager but its not actually running the schedule. i have checked the logs and no errors, have also uninstalled and reinstalled still no joy.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

That is key information, that it did work fine on your system until recently. Have you made any system changes, or did you tinker with any settings when you "checked to make sure everything was ok"? What was it that you checked?

have made no changes to program, just launched and checked that the log had recorded each day the system had backed up, which i found it had not, which is why i looked into the schedule side...

What OS do you have? There were some scheduler issues with Windows 8 systems.
