Scheduled backups won't start

Thread needs solution

Windows 7 64x True Image 2013 build5551
I have scheduled backups for weekly on Wednesday. Tonight's backup didn't start like it was scheduled. There are no logs or error messages it just didn't come on. Yes the computer was on and awake at the time . I looked at the backup drive and none of the scheduled times came on. The only backup there was the first one I did manually.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Wendy,

Check that all the Acronis services in Services.msc are set to automatic and running.

See what happens this Wednesday, it might have been some sort of hiccup.

Same problem for me.
All was right but since this week-end backup doesn't start anymore, without logs / events.
Backups are ok if i start them manually.

Thank you for any help too !
Poum's.

Is the destination target attached and recognized? Is the target usb3?

If you open the program, the task shoud display the day and time scheduled. Does it?
Click on the time which will open another windows and look at the schedule and look at the advanced settings.
Make sure advanced setting does not have the "run only when idle" checked.

The target could be sleeping.
Open Device Manager and click on Universal Serial listing at the bottom.
Check the usb root hub. There is a setting inside each root hub to allow the computer to turn off the device. Be sure it is unchecked and this adjustment will need to be made on each listing for the usb root hub.

I have Acronis 2015. The only way that I can get Acronis to work is to un install and re install. It will work once but will not backup on the schedule or even a manual attempt to start. Any ideas?

Larry,

Are all the Acronis services set to automatic and running?

If you look up MSCONFIG, does it show the Acronis scheduler as an item in startup and ticked?
