Serial Number is Already Registered

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I recently purchased an SSD and cloned my HDD. 

I Used Acronis yesterday successfully via USB media. 

I wanted to create a recovery media on another USB. Now, i have a freshly installed windows on my SSD and i just installed ACronis and it is now saying "This serial number is already registered to another account". What sucks even more, is when i logged in with the same email and password, it says i have no registered products. 

 

Please help or assist on how to move serial numbers to other hard drives.

Unfortuantely, the OEM versions that come with hardware like SSD's are supported by the OEM provider and not Acronis.  They're usually neutered/water-downed versions and are often several versions behind too (plus whatever changes the OEM provider made to limit the software).

If you have already made an Acronis account, when you log in, you should be able to register your product (have you done that already)?  Once registered, normally, when you launch Acronis if it says you've exceeded the # of licenses, it will ask you to log in to your account (via the app), it takes you to your previously registered system(s) and asks you to deactivate it from one of them.  Then you can normally register immediately in the app again.

Give Acronis tech support a chat and see if they can help, but you may have to go back to the manufacturer (see what Acronis says first though).
