Series of Incremental backups, but can't restore to last backup date
Hello,
I'm reinstalling my OS, and am trying to recover files from Acronis incremental backups. What's weird, though, is that the last date that I seem to be able to restore to is *between* the date of my first backup and the date of the last incremental backup. What I want, of course, is to restore files from up to the date of the *last* incremental backup.
The first backup file is "Selected File Backup_full b1_s1_v1.tib," dated 4/25/2015. I had an incremental backup every day from 4/26 through 8/19/2014, and that last file is "Selected File Backup_inc_b1_s81_v1.tib."
When I load that file into the Acronis app via "Acronis, Recover > Browse for Backup..., > Add to backup list," it pops up another window showing the available versions along the bottom of the window. Which are are every day from 4/25/2014 through 5/21/2014 -- But nothing thereafter, including up through 8/19/2014, the date of my last incremental backup. Backups for all the dates after 5/21 seem to be missing!
Alternatively, when I go to the file in Windows Explorer and right-click on "True Image > Recover," it pops up a small window that says "Searching for versions..." After a while is shows a message in that window that "There are no previous versions."
Clearly, Acronis was making differential backups from the last date I can recover, 5/21/2014, through the date of the last incremental backup, 8/19/2014. But I can't seem to get access to any of the data in these backups (post 5/21/2014). Any ideas how I can get access to this missing data?
Many thanks,
Steve
