Thread needs solution

Are these the steps to create a schedule:
1-click back up on the left then back up on the right.
2- Check the discs to back up + click next.
3-Browse then 'create a new folder'.
Name it like by date, ok.
4-click scheduling and pick the times you want.
5-use the password that you logon to the pc with, proceed.

Please correct the above where wrong.

How do you stop scheduling?
Thank you

In regards to #2. I assume you mean the first selection, Disk and Partition Backup?

Depending on how many hard drives and partitions you have, make sure you tick the DISK to image a complete hard drive which will include all the booting information or if you really only want to image one partition out of a multi partition drive select the partition letter tick box.

what do you mean by create a new folder , is this an image or a files and folders backup you are attempting?

To stop scheduling you alter the schedule by selecting the Do not schedule under the scheduling tab. From the task list you can access this directly by right clicking on the task and selecting schedule.

In addition to what Bodgy has recommended. If you want to be able to duplicate your disk if it should fail or want to go larger, use his recommendation for a Disk option backup so all partitions will be included.

On the option "finish" (proceed or cancel) it is this page where you can select the option to perform an immediate backup or not. This option is selectable at time task is created or during an edit of the task. Editing of the task not recommended--better to create a new one instead.
