Shutdown after back-up corrupts network protocol

Thread needs solution

I have just taken advantage of the free migration to Windows 10 from 8.1 Pro 64.  True Image 14 is set up to execute a shutdown command after all back-up is complete - which has been working fine until now.  It appears that something in the shutdown process is corrupting network protocol.  The first time it happened, the Troubleshooter indicated that Winsock registry entries were missing.  A Winsock reset corrected it.  Then the next day - same problem.  However, the Troubleshooter "can't diagnose" the problem.  However, Winsock reset - everything is fine.  Next day, same problem.  This time, I simply shut down the computer completely and re-started without doing a manual Winsock reset.  Network connection come up perfectly.

Does Win 10 require anything different in the way that the commands and switches are set for the shut-down?

David, ATIH 2014 is not tested or supported for use with Windows 10 - only ATIH 2015 or later is supported with this OS.

See KB document: 56196: Acronis Products: Windows 10 Support which states:

Older versions of Acronis products
Support of Windows 10 will not be implemented into older versions of Acronis products (e.g. Acronis True Image 2014 or older, Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 or older, Acronis Snap Deploy 4 or older), as Acronis development team works on the current versions only. Stable functioning of older products on Windows 10 is not guaranteed.
