shutdown computer when in try and decide mode

When i am in try and decide mode and restart the laptop it is the acronis loader that loads early on and dispalys two options soon after
1) to boot windows and continue in try and decide mode
2) discard all changes and continue to boot windows
with the first being the default option post 10 seconds
On the same (light blue screen) there is an option in the botton tat says "shut down compter" (short cut Cntrl + F4 or mouse). Whevever i choose that option to shut down computer the laptop goes straight to "starting windows" (in T&D mode) - IT JUST NEVER SHUTS DOWN THE COMPUTER.
Has anyone noticed this behaviour on Acronis 11 or is it only on my laptop.
Please advice or explain
