Snapapi.dll not found
Windows XP Pro.
Running Acronis True Image Home 2010 Plus Pack Build 7,046
I keep having error messages appear, caused by programs (prl_stat.exe) NOT being able to find "snapapi.dll".
I have searched the data base and see many instances of problems with "snapapi" on various OS. However, I don't see a recommended solution for the Acronis True Image Home 2010 Plus Pack on home PC running Windows XP.
Can anyone explain how to eliminate this chronic problem?

I have the exact same problem after updating to the latest version.

I think it happens at random on boot up as I do not always get the error.
Talking of errors, I tried to register on here, and the registration box want me to select something when there wasn't any options for it. Considering you have to register to send a email it was pretty frustrating. But today it seems to be working, hence being here.
Also I cloned a windows 7 drive from a 30GB to 1TB drive, it was ran from XP, afterwards XP started comming up with "MBR ERROR 3". I unplugged the windows 7 drive and the error went to "MBR ERROR 2". I dowloaded the XP recovery console and fixed mbr that way. Though normally it does not even see the hard drives and I have to install drivers, which I dont have on floppy as its a new pc. Though thankfully it worked. Though It was also worring since last time I did a fix mbr or fix boot on a drive it forced it to FAT12!!! So I really did not want to mess with the drive, but as I had a backup of it before hand, I did it, and it worked.
Though after all day messing around with it all and these new errors, I wonder if I should just backtract to the older version, 2009 I think it was. Though I have a feeling it does not seem to like copying windows 7 drives. Though in all the confusion of the day, I can't remember exactly as was what.
Regards,
Chris
