Software freezes when trying to use

Thread needs solution

I have used Acronis True Image for many years. Primarily as an automated backup tool. However, today, I wanted to clone a drive. I start up the product (Windows 7 64-bit), and when I am presented with the main screen interface, the second I try to click any option on the main dashboard, the program completely freezes up. The title bar displays "Not Responding".

I have uninstalled the product, and re-installed the product to no avail. The lack of support options (other than having to pay on a per incident basis) are ridiculous. Why when we have a problem with Acronis software would I need to pay for support?

I've had it at this point. I will not be upgrading to any new versions of any Acronis products (True Image or Disk Director), but I probably will buy comparable products from a competitor with better support.
