Check to see if there are any "2011" events in the Win7 event log. Do you have Norton AV installed on your computer?

I have the same problem. I upgraded to Tru Image 2010, latest build (from 11/23/09) when I had 64 bit Windows 7 installed. Every time I try to execute the backup, it starts, then gives me the error message "Specified file does not exist." To make matters worse, when this happens it also freezes my mouse and keyboard, forcing a hard reboot. This is sooooooooooo frustrating! Do you have a fix? I've seen multiple posts about this problem, but not a definitive answer so far. Happy to provide log files or whatever else you need.
PS No 2011 errors in my Win 7 log files

If no 2011 event log errors, then its an issue with ATI2010 itself.

I got the same error with Acronis Home 10, backing up to an external LaCie USB drive (Windows XP SP3). I think this drive has a habit of "going away" and "coming back" - probably a USB issue. That possibly may have caused the error to come up in the first place. When I brought up the progress window I see the backup has resumed. I notice that the error message has not cleared from the tray icon, however. So, if you get this hold on for a few minutes to see if the backup continues.
Stu
PS - Incidentally, I disabled Norton Antivirus when I saw the error occur, so that may have been involved. I've never had an issue with NAV and Acronis before, though, so I don't think that is a factor.
