Successful back up now will not restore.

Thread needs solution

Excuse me if I sound disgruntled, but I kinda am. I am running True Image 2013. I did a file backup of my ftp server. I did it in 2 seperate backups. Part one and part two. Both took about 31 hours to fully backup and verify. Both were successful. Both were showing in my backup list. I use my acronis every day. So I fully understand how to use it. So skip the basic stuff. I am trying to restore both parts now. I went to my list and part 2 shows the restore button but part one doesn't. I have done everything I can think of to restore part one but nothing is working. I removed it from my list and then verified the part one thinking it would put it back into my list. But it didn't. These were both done with the same settings. I have gone to the browse and picked the pert one backup which should work but when I double click the backup it just sits there and does nothing. I clicked put back into list and it did that but still not with the restore option. I opened it using explore and it lets me do this all the way to single files. But if I try to copy and paste anything from the whole backup to single files it only hangs. Earlier today it did let me copy and paste for a test and it copied but it will not do that now. I have to get this back up to work and everything checked out perfectly after the backups were done. I got no errors or anything. Now it will just not restore this part one. I cannot loose these files and as I explore everything shows up and I have verified the back up 8 times today and every time it said it was fine. What gives.

One day maybe someone will make a backup program that works every time all the time.

Looks like a forum, says it's a forum, smells like a forum. Huummmmmm But is it a forum.

Hi Charles,

first of all I would recommend to check if your backup file can be successfully validated and restored using Acronis Linux-based bootable media: http://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ATI2016/#25837.html

If it doesn't please contact our support for further troubleshooting: http://www.acronis.com/support/contact-us.html

Thank
