Sync Creates Hundreds of New Files with Long Filenames

Each time Sync runs it is creating a load of new files.

If I have a file test.doc in the sync folder I will end up with lots of copies named
test Dell 2011.10.14 1411.doc
test Dell 2011.10.14 1411 Dell 2011.10.14 1411.doc
test Dell 2011.10.14 1411Dell 2011.10.14 1411Dell 2011.10.14 1411.doc
and so on till I have literally thousands of unwanted files.

The original set up was to have ATIH on 2 Vista PCs and have their Documents Folders snchronised with a Folder on a NAS Drive. In this case the file name was getting lengthened by the insertion of both comouters' names.

Once this problem started I have uninstalled and cleaned up both PCs and at present only one PC and the NAS drive are in the Sync but the problem continues.

I had moved the SyncMe folder prevously but it has been left alone since the first uninstall.

Anyone found a solution for this?
