TI 2010 Ghost Screen

Thread needs solution

Since upgrading to 2010 when I am running the program every now and then the display screen changes to a hardly visible ghost image and will not return to normal until I click on the image.

It does this quite frequently while I am using the program...

Any suggestions or solutions?

Thanks

This one I haven't heard of before.

What OS are yo using. What other programs are running. It sounds like a simple matter of the focus changing to another program.

It could be a problem with the "fake" Aero effects TI 2010 uses in XP. Sometimes it runs extremely slowly, for example.

I was just doing some searching and it seems the AERO is for Vista only.
I'm running XP.

Is there a way to turn it off bnecvause it's really a pain. ?

Banyarola,
Unfortunately, if you want to use the 2010 Windows version, that's the only choice--even with XP . You can avoid it by using the Rescue CD for your backups or recoveries.

Well, I appreciate your comments but to have that feature in it that doesn't work well with XP and is really meant for Vista is really the dumbest thing I ever heard.

In another topic I said how I have used TI since 2004 and evey version is worse then the one it replaces.

I d/l the trial of Ghost and will install it and see how that works.
If I'm happy with that then I'll I'll dump TI for good.

I have really lost all confidence in TI.
I also requested a refund for 2010. Who knows where that request will go.

It's a shame, because this was really a good program years ago and they they very rarely fix the bugs and then come out with a new version and you end up with a whole new bunch of bugs that never get fixed.

They have certain fixes for problems but no central place to find them and you have to go through days of email support before you get help and then the help may not be what you need anyway.

I don't need glitzy bug prone features. I need a program that I can trust and use and TI doesn't meet that need for me anymore.

The whole thing sucks!
