TI 2011 schedualed task drops C:\ drive . . .
I have (2) tasks schedualed, full backup of C:, E: & G: twice a week and incremental backup of the same drives the other five days of the week.
First few backups are fine, but then the backups only contain the E: & G: drives, no C: drive?
Task Schedualer shows that C: should be backed up, but it does not happen.
Ideas/suggestions on how to fix this?

In addition, one way of making sure you always include all the partitions on one disk inside the backup (including non-lettered partitions) is to select the source disk from the "disk mode" option. That is, when selecting the disk to be backed up, click on the "Multiple partitions selection" plus also check the "switch to disk mode" at the top of the same page.
The "disk mode" selection enables the user choose the entire disk (all partitions) as to what is included inside the backup.
"OK. Set up one task. Set up the backup scheme to create a new full every 6 incrementals, keep only the most X recent chains (a chain is one full plus its following incrementals). That should work."
The above sounds ideal, but I cannot find an option to create a single task that will do a full backup and then 6 incrementals before again doing a full backup.
I have only (3) options shown; Full, Incremental and differential.
This example will repeat a full after each six incrementals. The example is set to keep a revolving 4 chains but you can change the 4 to another number of your choice.
Chain1= 1 full plus the next 6 inc.
chain 2= 1 full plus the next 6 inc
Chain 3= 1 full plus the next 6 inc.
Chain 4=1 full plus the next 6 inc.
Chain5= 1 full plus the next 6 inc plus chain 1 is deleted leaving chain 2,3, 4, 5
Chain 6 =1 full plus the next 6 inc plus chain2 is deleted leaving chain 3, 4, 5, 6
If you set the chains from 4 to 1, it will create the replacement before deleting the original so you always need a little space.
What version is that screen shot from? I have nothing like it.

That looks like it would be worth the upgrade.
My example above is from the current version 2012, build 6154.
The older version 11 used Backup Locations to achieve somewhat the same. Maybe this link with text file may help.

Should you decide to upgrade to whatever, be sure and do a full and complete backup of your existing system and the backup should include all partitions including any non-lettered partitions. This backup is a safety valve for recovery purposes.
Also, you would need to do an un-install before installing any new backup software.
Removed TI11, downloaded trial of TI12 and installed then did a full image restore of system that had TI11. Maybe just me, but I felt like a beta tester with 12, too many problems to deal with. I will stick to 11 and check to be sure it is doing what it was told to do after each backup.

OK I thought you had 2011 from the title of your post, but you have v11, which precedes 2009...
As long as you can backup and restore your disks, you can wait until 2012 is stabilized.
