TI 2013 backup names
I hate the way backups are named, forcing an illogical sort sequence in Windows Explorer unless I sort by date.
Surely "full", "inc" or "diff" should appear at the end of the name, not the beginning, so that files sort by backup/slice/volume?
Is there any way of forcing "full", "inc", "diff" to the end of the name?
This is as bad as the ridiculous default date format which should be yyyymmdd, not mmddyyyy or ddmmyyyy.

Thanks for that. Very helpful. With earlier versions, at least 2010 and earlier, @date@ didn't give yyyymmdd. I complained about it over several versions! Good idea to use @exec@ before the system assigned name - that will yield a sensible sequence in Explorer (but I still feel it would be much more logical to put full/inc/diff at the end of the name).

When creating the backup file name, create the custom name for the backup file,
then complete the other opitons. Then, just prior to saving the new task,
change the name of the task to whatever name you wish.
This procedure will keep the your custom backup file name unchanged
plus give you the opportunity to finalize your custom task name, as the two names are two separate entities. The task name can be the same or can differ--user choice--just before hitting the save button to save the task.
