TI home2011 lack of rights to initialise snapshot manager library?

TI home 2011 update 3 (build 6942)
Win XP prof SP3
Admin account

I'm trying to recover a Firefox profile and get the error above no matter if recovery to the original folder or elsewhere.
Backup is a folder-backup not a volume-backup.

What is the snapshot manager library and where it is located?
The FF profile folder is accessible for erverbody.
I don't know where to find the snapshot manager library to control its rights. I'm working with XP-admin-rights.
