[TI2011] - Back up Application Data
Hi,
the former TI 2010 had an option to backup important application data such as Thunderbird e-mails and registry files.
I'm missing this option in TI2011 now. Of course there is a File Backup now, however, it is very inconvenient as I've to search for those appropriate application settings, files manually.
Or did I miss something?
cu,
Michael

One more question So, even in partition system backup you do not backup system files, Application Data and so on?
One of the most important future is a Application Data backup so Why Why Why?!!!!

Juliusz.
If you make a disk/partition type backup, it will include all contents.
If you backup the entire disk, it will include all partitions.
If you backup only a single partition, it will include the contents of that specific partition.
There is also an "other" type backup which enables you to make a backup of files or folders.
check the 2013 help files along the left margin of this webpage.

Juliusz,
The name "system backup" was misleading. And the technology not adequate. Not much more useful than Windows System Protection.
If you want to be able to restore your computer to a new disk, you need a disk and partition backup.
