TI2011 can't identify backup locations and 'not responding' appears

Thread needs solution

TI2011 won't backup because backup destination info can't be selected from the location selector.

My machine uses Windows 7 64bit and has 2 x 500Gb drives split into a number of separate partitions. I installed the latest version of TI2011 on the Windows 7 partition and created an ASZ of 245Gb.

When I run TI2011 it identifies previous 'old default backups' located on 'standard' partitions (my normal backups are kept in ASZ) that I keep as a last resort. When I select the backup partition operation it correctly lists all partitions including the ASZ however the location section (where you specify the location for the backup) is empty. The drop down menu doesn't work. When this is clicked TI2011 hangs.

I have recreated the ASZ twice and installed TI2011 3 times in the last 24 hours - with no change in behaviour.

Before I throw in the towel and look for a different backup program can anyone suggest how I might fix this?

Thanks

IanM

I have produced the files requested but since I do not own a support plan the customer services website redirects me to the support forums. Should I upload the files here as an attachment.

Thanks for getting back to me by the way.
