Windows 7 64 Bit
Acronis TI 2010 6053
Same problem as 6029
When run from recovery disk it does not recognise Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard & Mouse version 1.1
This makes the program worthless for me.
I thought this problem would have been fixed in this update, I can not be the only person with a Microsoft wireless keyboard.

I won't be installing this until I'm sure it does the job. I had to remove build 6029 and install build 5055 to prevent system hangs caused by TI.

Windows 7 64 Bit
Acronis TI Home 2010 Build 6053 Issues
I mounted a TI Home 2010 Build 6029 Win 7 partition image. When I tried to Unmount the image win 7 posted the usual warning and I answered then nothing . The image was not unmounted. I tried to launch TI 2010 and again nothing. I gave up and shut down win 7 then restored TI Home 2010 Build 6029. The same image mounted fine with 6029.

Acronis knows exactly what they can do with their products. I contacted AMEX and disputed payment on this crap. I have no doubt they will eventually some day get it working but their support is just so totally useless.
They never even replied on their own forums regarding all these issues which show the lack of quaility and customer service they provide.
Norton Ghost 15 was just released. The 30 day trial is working perfectly at least under Win 7 Ultimate 64.

Hello all,
Let me make some comments regarding the current state of the situation:
What a shame! sounds as they havent fixed all the issues here yet...
The issue discussed in those threads has been fixed. Let me post the part of reply posted by Robert, Director of Customer Service and Technical Support:
To fix this issue we have simply adjusted our SnapAPI drivers to work in the low level filters without interfering with Windows. So in order to resolve this, you will need to install the new SnapAPI drivers, which can be downloaded upon request. The new build will include these drivers, however that build is not ready yet. So without having to wait for the new build you can download these drivers and install them over the latest two builds (6029 or 6053) now, as always we recommend the latest build.
And here's the link to download the driver update:

Yes, I can confirm that this issue is not fixed yet. We are aware of the situation and personally I understand how it's important for you. I have reported the issue to our Management so probably we will speed up the investigation. I will post an update as soon as possible.
Edwin, have you tried to unmount the image through disk management? Please follow to Start->Run->diskmgmt.msc then choose mounted partition and right click on it -> Change Drive Letters and Paths, then click on Remove. This should help.
Bruce, do you mean that your current build was displayed as 6029? Could you please post a screen shot? I have logged to your account and checked that your build is 6053 in both cases...
We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.
Thank you.

Automatic Consolidation Issue in 6053. Tasks that were created with Automatic Consolidation parameters in an earlier version of 2010 seem to continue to work. New tasks or modified tasks however lose their ability to have Automatic Consolidation. The Consolidation parameter never gets saved and thus the tasks run without it. Didn't realize it at first until I went to check on a backup and saw that only the latest one was there. I didn't install 6029 so I'm not sure if the problem exists there or was introduced in 6053. If it matters running W7 Home Premium 64 bit.

I have a triple boot system with XP 32x, XP 64x and Win 7 64x and TI 2010 - 6029 runs fine. I updated TI 2010 - 6029 to 6053 Now, when I try to mount an image (any image), TIH 2010 - 6053 posts the error message cannot assign drive letter. I moved back to 6029 and the image mounts fine. Do we have to buy the Plus Pack to get this feature back in 6053?

Edwin, you probably need the SnapAPI file that solves other 6053 problems.
