TIH 2011 EMAIL BACKUP skips some folders in INBOX tree

Thread needs solution

Hi,
I have a "multi-folder" structured INBOX tree (Windows Live Mail - Win-7 Pro x32). These are for emails that are sorted out using standard RULES procedures, just as was done with OUTLOOK EXPRESS (or OUTLOOK) in XP days.

Acronis TIH 2011 "FULL Email Backup" skips some email folders, if INBOX tree is expanded.

I'm another of the large number of dissatisfied Acronis suffers, and this was yet another unsolved bug in tech suppport's laughable record.

I was horrified to see that if the INBOX tree is left open, as is usually the case, in the left panel, a TIH 2011 Email FULL Backup skips a large number (though not all) of the email sub-folders.

The work-around to make it backup ALL folders, was to close (i.e. roll up) the INBOX tree, so that only the basic set of Email folders (Inbox, Draft, Sent Junk, Outbox, etc) are the only ones that are visible, in the panel.

This is an odd quirk to yet another weird TIH 2011 bug - but it works. Trouble is that you have to always remember to roll up the INBOX before the scheduled time for TIH 2011 Email Backup.

Acronis should compensate customers to be their guinea pigs or beta-testers, if they aren't going to QA their software at all, before foisting it on the trusting public. That meagre 30 day support should be a full year, considering that TIH (and maybe all their other software), is such a mess. Seeing a third party software product in the store, with a small Acronis logo in the corner, made me give it a wide pass! I learned that dealing with ACRONIS  off-shore tech support is an extreme waste of patience and customer time - this forum is a  far better - actually the only -  means of mutual support. Keep up the good work guys.
