Time shift bug

Thread needs solution

After restoring a partition the time stamp of every file is shifted -1 hour. Perhaps it's related to my time zone, CET ( CentralEuropeanTime ). Annoying, cause some of my system analysis tools detect running modifications via time of last change.
Concerns Acronis True Image Home 2009, Buil 9.769, restoring a partition image.

Even with the Backup Images the time stamp is 8 hours behind actual time here in the USA Eastern Time Zone. I haven't noticed any change after restoring an Image though.

Thank you for your reply. Never noticed but yes, the time stamps of my image files are also shifted. Here it's 1 hour behind actual time. ( A little bit weird, doesn't fit to time zones - Central European Standard/Daylight is +1/+2, Eastern is -5/-4. )

Anyway, I found the reason why my time stamp slide in the restored files happened : I created the image at daylight saving time and restored the partition at standard time.
And as I had to note, time stamps under Windows are internally stored relative to Coordinated Universal Time. So you have an offset every time you switch from summer to winter time. Whether you restore your partition or not. No bug, it's a feature !
