trouble with archive folders
Hello I have a trouble with true image for windows. If I move after closing the program, the backup archives in other folders, each time I restart the program, it Re creates these folders in original positions. That creates confusion since on that way I will have 2 folders, the one in the original position, empty, and the moved folder with The backup archive. How to avoid that??
There is a "Move" option inside the TrueImage (Windows--not the CD) program.
From inside a current backup task, Click the Settings Option button (below the Recover button), you will find a "Move" option there.
This will modify the task settings and move the actual file and future target location to a new location.
The old location will be empty and the new location will have the files and future backups will be stored in the new location.

If your goal is to have dupliacate copies, then simply make copies and store them elsewhere--not related to the program.
The original task will continue without changes.

If you move the backup filese manually outside the program, TI will not know about the move and the backups data will become confused and new full backups will occur when incremental or differential may have been scheduled.
