Trouble recovering audio & video files

I am using 2010 version of ATIH. I am trying to recover individual audio & video files which I paid for (MP3, mpeg, avi, etc). These files are contained within an Acronis True Image .tib image file made on a Windows XP machine. I now have a new Windows 7 Premium 64 bit machine. I have been able to recover Excel & Word files with no problem.

When I try to recover an audio or video file (these are relatively not very large files), I get the message that there are several days time remaining, then several hours remaining, then an error message which I cannot remember.

Can someone advise me? Thanks.

I am assuming that you have ATI 2010 installed on your Win7 machine.

Using Windows Explorer, browse to the appropriate .tib file.
Right click and choose the Explore option from the right click menu.
This will open the backup file and you can browse to the proper folder.
Right click on the specific audio/video file and either drag/drop or copy/paste the files from the backup file onto your Windows folder.
