True Image 2013 6514 Won't Run

True Image 2013 Build 6514 won't run.
Watching the Processes in the Task Manager, when I try and launch True Image I briefly see "Acronis True Image Home (32 bit)" under Background processes and then it disappears.

I have tried repairing the installation and uninstalling. The PlusPack build 6514 is also installed.

The machine is set up to dual boot. I have Windows 8 installed on two different SSDs. I boot to one of the SSDs as my main operating environment and boot to the other in emergencies. I back up the main SSD daily. The main SSD has failed so I need to restore its image to a replacement. Windows 8 on the emergency SSD is a basic installation with no other applications except for True Image.

I also tried the booting True Image from a DVD rescue media and that has killed my RAID array!

I also tried running TrueImage from another Windows 8 image on a different (mechanical) hard drive, and the same thing happens (or doesn’t happen) - The True Image user interface doesn't appear! What really bothers me is that I have successfully restored the same SSD running True Image from a dual boot image on the same PC. The only thing that has changed on the images/drive(s) I am attempting to run True Image from are the Windows updates.
A separate issue are the deficiencies with running True Image from bootable rescue media. I should probably start a new thread for this problem. Not only has it trashed a RAID 5 array but it also wouldn’t see the PCI Express SSD I wanted to restore in the first place!
