True Image 2013 build 6514 can't detect drive

Go to www.acronis.com and click User Login at the top of the page. If you haven't already, click register now to create an account and register your True Image 2013 serial(s). Log in with your email and password. Click My Products and Downloads under My Account in the left pane. Click the + sign next to True Image 2013 (If you have plus pack click that one). After clicking the + a blue box with tabs along the bottom will expand. Click the tab Bootable Media and then Download. The description will say 6514, but it is actually build 6528 Recovery Media ISO.

This is all that show for the family pack that I purchased. Not the 6528 build. Problem I'm having with multiple HP computers - both laptop & desktop - is that the Bootable media does not recognize the drive for backup. The drives show up in the Recovery area but not Backup. And other users on the KB forums suggest that going older 2012build5551 or 2013 build 6528 will work. I've downloaded the one listed above from my account - BOOTABLE DOES NOT DETECT FOR BACKUP. Got suggestions? I'm not gonna pay Acronis $10 for a support incidence for a patch that should be available to family pack user if it is available for other paid users.

Wow, you answered something I couldn't figure out on my own. I had previously done as you suggested and noticed that the ISO file size was slightly different than the version of 6514 I had been using so I downloaded the new one and it solved my problem. It's amazing to me that they would alter it without changing the build number. Guess they want to keep us confused. Thanks for your help.

Yeah it's a limitation of the website. They can't change the build number of the bootable media on the website without actually releasing a full new build. The ISO file was updated sometime around the end of June or first of July. It wasn't documented very well(or at all). I just happened to stumble across it in the following thread.
